Glad you could make it for the last race Maxster... Saturday's race was low on numbers but high on action as the feature race saw me, Fluff and Fndr nose to tail for half the race, fluff was leading but ran wide onto the grass in turn 2 but I still had Fndr right behind me, then on lap 23 I gave fndr a bit to much room into the hairpin and he snuck up the inside, there was a little contact and I ran wide but as they say.. rubbin' is racing.
I'll post up the final points table soon but the winner of the first season of the Clio Cup is....
SPINY
Congratulations Spiny it was very close, Boo told me just 3 points seperated the two of you at the end, im not sure how far behind Res and Maxster were but to have 4 people in with a chance of winning the title right up till nearly the last race just shows how close the racing has been, I've had a blast and some of the closest racing I've ever had on Forza, I hope you've all enjoyed it too and thanks to those that ran the full season and I look forward to seeing you all back next season... In the mean time I highly recommend you check out Fndr's GT400 series thats starting soon...

That was a really enjoyable championship Pete - well done for the organisation. I wish I could do something like that but just don't have the spare time on a consistent basis to do that and fit everything else in. I think it's fair to say that Boo, Res and Maxster have been very strong all season, and if any of them had won it would have been a fair result. It's nice to be able to sneak ahead of such strong competition.
Obviously there are highlights and lowlights. The obvious low point for me was at Road Atlanta when I ran into the back of meatball at the chicane ruining both our races. That was hugely embarassing for me.
Sticking to Pete's rear bumper for 17 laps in the first meeting is one highlight, and I prefer to remember those. Chasing down Maxster at Diamondback was another, even if I did miss out in the end. I really had to work hard to even get close and it certainly got the adrenaline going - in fact I would say that chase is probably my best memory of the whole season.

Diamond back was a real race. you found time on that track lap by lap. my luck at a getaway in race two due to a brain faid at the start of race one when i took to the grass to avoid 1st corner log jam and planted the car in the barrier, shortest distance i have ever driven past the line before wrecking the car 10m !!!!. I enjoyed racing loved the fact i could jump in the car and go.
Well done eveyone.
Love to do it as world tour using some of the longer tracks and allowing gearbox updates

A class endurance racing with fairly open rules.
