I am probably too late with this going by the new posts on the thread, but here are a couple of ideas I had.

FF TO FF For the hell of it. basically allow any car that begins as an FF but apply the RWD power train upgrade to it. B class with sport tires and on the Ring.

or

A class with slicks and no adjustable aero on road atlanta or road america.

Good idea, Kev.  I'm not opposed to that, but I'm personally hoping to break out the old school cars for the next challenge, and they all start as RWD.  I'd love to run this, though.  My guess is that it would probably end up as Cobalt vs. Civic vs. some mopar with the xfire swap (Fit's PT Cruiser?), or at least that's where I'd start.

Also Prelude, Astra, Focus, Leon, Ion, Integra....... maybe next time then??  It would be a tuning challenge.
The non adjustable aero one, was an excuse for me to try and tune the BMW E92 properly.

I do like the sound of the Enduro challenge, maybe limiting the choice of cars as much as possible.

Shouldn't be too much problem with cars on the Enduro kev... the C-class M-inc specs are..
(I think these are right)

Muscle Inc. C Class

Class C - 550 PI Max
Y Rated tires with a minimum width of 215 mm. (The GTO is allowed to run 205 mm)
All adjustable Platform/Handling parts are required.
Rear Wing is required.

Both of the Corvettes and the Chevelle are excluded.

That leaves us with...

Camaro SS
Camaro Z/28
'Cuda
'69 Charger
Boss Stang
'68 GTO
'68 Shelby Mustang GT

This also might be the challange that the Cuda has a chance of winning!! lol

Extra smokey.... now with no assists!

just read this thread now, and looking over the first post, i wouldnt mind doing that Silverstone challenge, but give it a twist. use ONE car for all three tracks. and perhaps have a Spec built car for the challenge, i.e.: maybe a spec built E92 M3. just an idea....

Just wondering if there was any reason for excluding the Chevelle since Laguna isn't exactly a missile track. Or is it that the Chevelle can't meet PI while being built to spec?

Just asking really becuase mine is about the only muscle car left looking for a home - it's starting to feel a little lonely. But there's plenty of other cars waiting to be let loose :D

IIRC, it's because the rear wing is required in C, and the chevelle has no wing.

I have a D-class "missile" and a grip-built one for the superstock challenges.  I've used the grip-built one for a lot of my LB times in D.

Also if we do go with the Laguna Enduro, we include a hot lap leaderboard for people that don't have time to run the full enduro race...  throw in the Livery and Photo comps and I think we got an interesting challange with something for everyone...

Hmm...  where have I seen that before... ;)

For the next challenge I would like to suggest an R3 based event.  It would be nice to shake things up a bit with a pre-made class.  Perhaps use the JGTC cars (the one's with the wide-body kits) around a japanese track.

2 Skylines, i think 4 NSX's, 1 BMW, and handful of Supras.  Considering that several of the cars are the same, it would boil down to about 4 or 5 different cars to try out.  And no Ferrari or Viper to dominate.

Track could be a neutral one like Suzuka or Motegi.

I got a month long challenge planned. Different classes/tracks with an each weekend finale race. But how many are still here to race on Sat?

Plus, I'm busy getting pwnd by ten year olds at COD:W@W now.

If you still want a shot at it, I guess it we could do it. But it pertains to the good ole USA and the classes are rather familiar to us all.

Think of it as the F-T Series Champ.

Well an afternoon weekend day nonetheless. Don't matter which.

And I'm really the same way with W@W.
And I no longer completely stink at it now. (Prestige #2 just started)
