So here we are at the track which inspired the Clio Cup idea..
After being out for 2 weeks I was a little rusty when I got back online Friday night so I was really pleased when I managed to avoid the first lap incidents and then chase down Chop for victory in the Sprint race.
In the feature race I managed to get a good start from the back and made my way up to a battle for 4th with Fluff, fortuanate for me he ran wide in copse at the start of the second lap and I went chasing after Maxster Spiny and Scamp, closely followed by Chop and Fndr.. When I did catch up to the back of them I went and braked a little too late into maggots and tapped the back of Maxster's car causing him to slide and allowing Chop and Fndr to get past. Midway into the race and Spiny had a comfortable lead with Chop, Maxster, Fndr and me all fairly close to each other, Chop then had a few bad laps and dropped back to 5th behind me but was able to get back past the following lap and I had to settle for 5th. Great racing it sure is good to be back..
