LOL - all it takes is quick trip out to my garage in the summer time to get my head screwed on straight.  I don't do the heat well any more.  It makes me content to be just a window shopper now...

You sir, have the same sickness that I have. A serious yearning for project cars.  ;D

Only my unicorn is a '70 Cougar.

I already have three .... well two and a half.   And still want at least a couple more.

'91 240SX with a Japanese SR20DET swap waiting to get rebuilt and installed.

'92 Sentra SE-R that will donate the powertrain to a deviant idea that I've been knocking around in my head for sometime. It may get converted to Electric power for to and from work.

And an '86 Mustang 5.0 GT Conv. that I haven't DL'ed a pic to show. That one is my baby.....even though it has been neglected for some time now. I'm going for the big time on that one.

Now if I can only find the money and room to do something with them :-\

[edit]: It may look like I'm a ricer, but I cut my teeth on FI 5.0's. I just don't have the budget to do a smoking small block anymore. I need 30+ MPG, and they were dirt cheap.

Pushrods rule!

Auto Racing, Bull Fighting, and Mountain Climbing.

Damn, Drift. I wish I had known. I just sold my last '70 Cougar last week...actually traded it for some Girl Scout cookies. Too bad. I could have made you a good deal if you had any thin mints.

lol

I doubt the Thin Mints would have made it to the mail box.

Life expectancy is measured in hours in my house. If they make it to the house. :D

I guess I can add this to the one's that got away list.

My 85 Caprice War Wagon.  I had bought the wagon last January as a family hauler and pulled the tired 305 out (blown head gaskets) and considered a rebuild.....uh, no.  Swapped in a GM Performance Parts 300hp/300tq 350ci and a TH/350 reman trans.  I even went to far as pulling the dash and all the unnecessaries out of the engine bay (smog, a/c, emissions) in hopes of installing a set of Autometer gauges to monitor the new heart.  Turns out I have a stack of parts and the garage that its stored at is closing its doors.  I have till Saturday to get it out or watch it leave.  I don't have room in my "new" yard for an "old" car, at least till the Golf is ready so one has to go.  Seeing as gas is expensive, I'm keeping the Golf.  This week I'll be pulling the engine trans, and anything of value before the wrecker hauls her off.

Now she's not the most desireable beast on the street but it sucks to lose a car before you get a chance to even really drive it.  On to the next project....whatever it may be.
Go sell crazy someplace else, we're all stocked up here.

Sucks to see one of the last great wagons get the boot, I feel for you man. I still don't completely understand why SUVs replaced them, or even mini-vans, unless it's all because the chicks like sitting 'up high where I can see' :P

The worst thing I ever had to watch walk away was an intact 356 B Coupe. The body was straight, the floors were toast, the drive-train was in place and not running...

But he was only asking $600 for it, in 1999.

I'm still cussing about it! ;)

This little baby was in the garage next door to my work last week - it really made me wish I hadn't just spent all my money and more on that new house...

Then again, I can't imagine trying to drive around in a British winter in a car which has no heating and only a couple of slots for ventilation. Not to mention coping with car park barriers and toll booths in a car whose windows don't open...

[drool] But then again, just look at it [/drool]  :D All hail the genius that was Colin Chapman
