I would like to see a little more power in the Sprinter.  It is a good Mongoose and that was its purpose.  It would be more utilitarian with the Sport Weight and a few more ponies but runnin down the Renaults has led me to leave well enough alone.  I came to the same conclusion as you with the TVR's.  With full weight reduction they were too light to be effective.  Far too much downforce was needed to keep it on the road so it lost all top end.  Just bumping them up to Sport made all the difference.

The IS is also underpowered IMO however it can also hold its own in a room online.  I have a couple IS's lined up for different classes and already have the different versions on deck as well.  I had my butt handed to me too many times in D and C class by them to not give a fair shake.  I'm pleased overall even though it's not quite "enough"

And the Cuda.  I try to run at least one Muscle car in each class as a baseline.  Since I didn't have a Cuda built out for anything else I made the executive decision to run it for this.  Its performance makes me feel like the CEO of Enron.  Its made me some money but its a sinking ship.  It doesn't have enough to get it out of a turn the way I would like and it definately doesn't have enough to pull it on top end.  It was an experience though and I learned a lot about the car and setting it up to try and manage the torque.  Hindsight is 20/20 and a Camaro SS or a Boss would have been a better choice.

Even though I labeled this as my "Hotlappers" thread I didn't turn either of the cars into a leaderboard attacking machine.  They are good for what they are and I've turned some good laps.  I should have been looking to turn great laps but I'm glad I gave these cars a chance.  You always remember your first time and these cars are gonna be remembered as my "First Rounders" when it comes to setting leaderboard times.

Finally finished hotlapping the Lexus and improved my overall time to 245th.  I've got a ways to go (13 seconds) if I'm gonna catch the next person on my friends list Shuwie.  I think I can pull a couple of seconds out with the Sprinter on the short tracks but I'd be suprised if I can pull 13+ seconds out.

I did come up against one of the ghosts of my Sprinter and there is no way the Lexus is catching that car on any of the snakes.  If I can pull out 1 second on each of the short tracks than I'll be much closer to the top of the list.  I'm actually looking forward to re running the gammit in the little Toyota.

So Blooze, I'm still comin fer ya!

LOL - well I'm pretty much a sittin' target right now.  I am all a tangle in tuning various R4 cars and investigating the various ins and outs of the Tonka Toon.  I've laid down times there with my Volvo that I will only be able to touch with the Audi.  Or, maybe I will get a real handle on tuning and driving these things...

Ran some online with the Sprinter and I can't believe this car isn't frowned upon yet.  I was still a little slower than the 135R's but far more consistant.

I ran a 4 race series, Tsukuba, Silverstone, Laguna Seca, and Sebring.  I was the only non-LB car in the room.  2 135R's, 2 206's, a Golf MkII and then me, a little Toyota.  I finished just between the two Lotii on Tsukuba, Managed 3rd behind a Lotus and a 206 on Silverstone, Flat out won Laguna by over 250 meters, and the 2 206's had more top end so they ruled Sebring with me finishing 3rd again.  Consistancy wins championships, that's for sure.

No fastest laps but I know for sure the Lotus guys were suprised to see me in the rear view the entire time.  All I had to do was run my race and wait for mistakes, and they happened.  This little car never stops making me golden.  I love it and use it often.  I think its due for its turn at C-class Exhibition, watch out.
