Nice one Fit, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I was hoping that would be the case as I wanted to spread the fun that can be had with the Cobra to someone who didn't seem to be liking it. It's not nice at first I grant you but as you've seen, get the hand of it and it's a car which really rewards you. Hopefully you'll notice the difference next time we get the muscle out.

Once again,

 CONGRATULATIONS!!!

It's amazing what you can do when properly motivated!  I really enjoyed doing the Cobra challenges the second time around.  I learned alot and definately became a better driver because of it.

I'll second this. If you can stomach it, keep pushing towards our times. It really will make you a better driver.

For this, I'll set you another challenge - get your race time within 5 seconds of the faster of me & Fit on each course ;) It's up to you if you accept it, and there's not prize, but if you do that, you'll find those Muscle Inc cars so much easier to drive, even if you mess up the tune :)

Come to think of it, that improvement could be the prize ;D

At the moment I'm all motivated to finish off the career.  I have a good 100 races or so to go  :o  but I should have some time over the holidays to hit it pretty hard.  I want to get all the car related achievements (and I want to earn the prize cars not buy them) and post a time in each career race.  Then I can clear out my gigantic garage and get a little more organized.  I realized when I was racing with you guys online that my garage is really a mess.  It's basically a reflection of whatever I'm doing at the time rather than having a nice selection of pre-tuned ready to go cars for general online races.  Once I finish career THEN I'll come back and hit these Cobra races hard (among many other things) but at the moment you guys are MILES ahead on these.  I think I had at least one major crash on each race and I think my best placing was something like 10,000+ on Maple.

BTW, I had to go back and take off all the options on several tuned cars to qualify them for the stock races.  On one of them I noticed at the grid my PI was higher than the rest of the field  ???  Eventually I figured out I still had upgraded wheels but it allowed me in the race anyway????  Weird.

On the 'stock' races, lightweight rims are available to you. I know of no other options than you can get away with though...

I bought a new car for the Spiny challenge and left the factory wheels on it.  The last thing I want is to have some baffoon on the daught net stir up some crap and get another wipe goin over the inclusion of upgrades on a stock race.

The only thing I did do was paint it a nice Cameo blue and put my number on it.
