First up a little history lesson for anyone new round here…
The term ‘Sockmonkeys’ came from DirtDriver and has become the recognised term here at muscle inc for B-class front wheel drive cars under 300 Bhp… Although the term ‘Sockmonkey’ first appeared in this line from Dirt’s original post…
"He said they would be assigned to these cars until they didn't look like a bunch of "sockmonkeys" flopping around inside the car while making their way around the track."
A great description, im sure you'l agree...
This is the idea we are following with ‘Sockmonkey Saturdays’ its one day a week where Muscle Inc members can get together, have some good clean racing and a good old jabber about their latest tuning project or real life unicorn with a bunch of equally mad petrol heads that have found a home here at Muscle Inc… All while flopping about in their cars like a Sockmonkey…. Speed isn’t important, having a good time is…
Of course we can all log on anytime and go racing, but open rooms tend to only be restricted by class, A/B/C/D etc.. Here on ‘Sockmonkey Saturdays’ it is the intention to run only specs based and forced stock races, so its something a bit different to the usual racing to be found online…
