I was goofin' around and ended up going sort of biserk on the
Let's Chase Spiny sheet.
Let's see...
I added the tracks - times can now be tracked. (I'm pretty sure I have all the times caught up and correct.)
I also added a "Report" section that can be useful in finding low hanging fruit, tracking how you've done and all that sort of thing. There are some things you should know about this section.
There is only one cell that needs to be populated for the thing to work. But there is some other stuff that can be done to make it more useful. You will get out of it only what... yada yada...
The cell that needs to be populated - B23. It needs your name. Copy the function that is used where ever else you've seen your name. (It is something like -
=Chasers!B$3.) Your times will fill out in the orange row and be compared to the fastest times entered in the table above. Or, if you prefer, you can enter the function for another person (I have Bob Boberson 'cause he's "next" for me). You can choose whoever you wish - the times will be automagically populated.
There is also a "Snapshot" row (row 27) and a Delta (28) for tracking improvements. Those show up in the Snapshot Delta row. The
Values only should copied in from the orange row, which contains a rather complicated function and you will make a mess if you copy the function... values only!!
The largest deficit will be highlighted in the Time Delta row (25). For me it is the Nurbburgring...

There is an audit column out at the end that will kind of give you an idea if something is amiss in your data. The value should be 0. But it can have a one or two due to rounding shinanigans. Anything bigger means you have a problem. Stank and Fit both have Decerted times. That is the reason for the their numbers in the audit column. Qmole and Chuckrateez have a value there to show what it looks like if you have forgotten a field, or added it to the wrong row in this case. Also, if you subtract the number from 1800, it will give you an idea which track it is. In this case, it is a track that has a 56 second time. That sort of narrows it down. Check Tsukuba. I have the offending cells hilighted. Give QMole his time back and all will be well (and clear the hilighting)
Keeping it updated takes only a little time now since all the times have been caught up. When I select a track, with the Leaderboard set to favorites, I just give the times a quick comparison. I can catch new times and updated times. Better to keep it up to date as you go along.
Of course, you don't have to keep it up at all. You can just put your times in, and maybe the times of a buddy that you want to be compared with. It is up to you. Right now, the sheet is all set to go for the Spiny Chasers.
Have fun, y'all...

PS: If you don't want to mess with any of this and just want the simple sheet, do this...- Hide columns H thru AK. AK is the bright green spacer for just this purpose.
- Hide Rows 21 thru 30.
