The color's not quite right on this pic; apparently the car was repainted at some point.

The original color was closer to what I have in my replica, Sera Blue.

That's a pretty good start Dusty.  I have a few more classic drag cars I want to emulate still.  I like them because they have a more personal touch than today's overly commercialized paint scheme's.
