I wonder, is it a Yaris +?  + meaning you picked it up as your beginning choice.  I'm not sure that would make a difference, but it may?

It does make a difference. I have my Aveo+ tune up for sale in the storefront - one of my friends bought it and couldn't get it on his "normal" Aveo, so I sent him a tune for another car in recompense. I now have a note on the storefront about it being for the + version. I'm sure Pete can confirm this, but I think his Yaris is a + car - if so the tune will not be useable on a normal Yaris?

That wouldn't be the first time them ++'s have messed with me.

Listen to my sad tale.  Unable to wait what turned out to be about 8 hrs., I trotted right out to the Walmart store and bought a regular version of the game.  I thought game stop was going to take longer to get my LCE to me.  Besides, I needed a couple of Forza II discs to get through the season, I saw no reason for this to be different.  I also got a return policy, and it came with the dandy paint job on a BMW M5 E60.

So as we get to running along in this game, I get gifted an M5.  Darn.  I don't want that plain Jane one.  So, I sell mine, and being impatient, not on the Aution House either.  I got a $100 for it.  And my painted one cost me $80000.  So I took a $79900 beating right there.  So I was looking for a place to race my cool little paint job.  Bought parts for it and all.  Looky there.  A race for Premium Sedans.  The M5 E60 is one of only three cars they'll let in.  But they won't let mine in.  One of those names.  It says M5 +++.  I guess the stewards don't know that from sickum...

So, now I got to get another one if I want to race that race...

I lucked out and got another one off the Auction House for just $1000.  Now I just need to buy some more parts.  I sure am glad I got that fancy paint job.  Yes I am.

Yeah I picked it as my first car... seems silly to have 2 different types  ::)

I'll sort out the same tune on a normal Yaris for you Blooze and send it over..

The + editions exist because they needed to balance the starting cars.  Basically, they made the cars as close to alike as they could by pre-upgrading a few of them.

Will you be able to do the paint?  Or will you have to start from scratch as well?

I should just be able to save the vinyl groups and put them straight on the other one so it shouldn't be too difficult..

I guess that should serve as a warning for me to not invest too much into my Fiesta...

I think you're OK with the Fiesta Blooze - from memory that isn't a + car so you should be ok to sell those tunes. It's the Aveo, Yaris, Versa and Fit which have + versions, the others were gifted to you bone stock.

Now what I wanted to do was to gain the rest of the plus cars (aside from the Aveo I have) through the AH. And for some reason they've locked them - even though you can search for a + car on the AH you can't put yours up for sale (after 3 weeks of searching for the other 3 I finally decided to see if it would let me list mine). I don't know whether that's another example of an unpolished product or whether they intend to release them as unicorns at some stage.

I thought I'd look into selling my Wally World car and I couldn't find any indication that they were being put up by anyone else, and they weren't showing up in the Model select list, so I figgered they were on "can't sell me" list.

Very cool BBQ, thank you!!

I know some F Classed Snakes that need their heads stomped this very night!

;D $

PS: Well now hey - this worked out extra cool...  I got the paint and the setup saved and was able to send it back to you.  The paint is on mine now, and I'll try the tune out soon as I get done with those spec races.

Thanks again

That is very cool looking, Q!!

Lemme, ask you something.  Did you get the wheel wells on both sides to come out the same?  I am having a devil of the time doing that.  The co-ordinates from one side to the other make no sense to me at all, specially if you twist the panel at all.

Thanks Blooze...

Yeah I got the wheelarches the same, The red is the base colour and then I use the brackets in the letters vinyls to create the edge of the curve around the outside. Then use the insert left / right to transfer it over...

I know there was an issue on some cars in FM2 where it would flip the vinyls around the wrong way, I haven't come across it in FM2 yet though...
