It would seem 1:30 is the magic threshold. Some have crossed over. I'm struggling to get into the 1:28-29 range. My cars have handled great, break well, stable into and out of corners, power down in a hurry.
I'm thinking my final drive is out to lunch. I out-handle the AI ghost through the twisty bits in the infield, but the AI ghost has blown my doors off in the final sector. ???

I forgot about the Lexus'. I was going to save them for another challenge. They would dominate the LB for this challenge. Their top speed is unrivaled in the LMMS class.

Enough of them. I already ran the Merc.

Mercedes C32 129.278

This is a strange bird as far its stats. Its stuck on 5.8 speed no matter how much power you add, unless you use the head/valve to raise rev limit. Despite having almost a 180 MPH top speed in its current form with racing trans. Every other car except the Cad tops around 165-170. And it shows it crossing the S/F line at 166-8. Pushs like a dump truck though.

I would love to at least try to trim some time after a rebuild or two. But ole Drifty is now on the IR. I've somehow cracked a bone in my thumb. I guess its a time after time because is snapped with reletively little stress on it. The little woman wil probably like my "off time". Because I played zombies on CoD pretty much all last holiday weekend.  :D

Good news is its the right hand, so its not steering, just shifting thumb. But I don't want to push it right now. And you don't want to know how many times I've hit the b-space button due the typing errors.  ;D

Initial attempt in a Lotus Carlton, I went with max power, exactly 600 hp.  Tune was by hit and miss guess method ;)

I just need to find some time to run this challenge.  :(  I did put together a Merc and without a tune I got it into the high 90.xxx.  Maybe later tonight/this week.

Bummer about the thumb drift, my hand is feeling way better and now I have a cool pirate scar, that is still in it's purple phase, to boot.   AAARRRRRRRRRR!!!

BTW, does "Rear Forza Aero" mean just the wing or the bumper as well?  I only put on the wing.

Only the spoiler is mandatory. The rest is up to you.

Good news Reno is that it feels better today. I have a bout 75% motion. I might be able to race tonight.  :D

I just can't use the R click on the thumbstick. So no more shooters for awhile.  :(

Well, the Carlton wasn't anything to write home about.  On a related note, the CTS is a lot of fun in the A-class Enduro.  No shock there, I guess.

Built the Merc with just under 500 hp, some weight reduction and widest tires, and took a few tenths off my Lotus time.  Still didn't break into the 90s though much less sub-90.  Car seemed a little more stable than my 600 hp monster Carlton, not too surprising.
