I'm thinking the weight limit no longer applies.  At least, it wasn't in the last challenge, IIRC, and isn't listed in the restrictions above.

CTS-V, 89.830

There's a lot left in it.  This is just a quick build and a sloppy lap.  I expect to drop about half a second off it by slapping on a proper tune and driving a decent lap.  

(edited for new time)

Update:  Slapped ona  blooze toon.  It's a decent car at this point, but a little ill-mannered.  Also, it's 3800 lbs.  May start a second car soon.

Oops, that's a good thing. I just checked my weights from my old tunes. The Lotus is 2655# and the Merc is 2637#.
I hope that's OK.

I opened up the diff to 35/25 and added more downforce.  Downforce really seems to be my friend here, for some reason.  It's a porker, but it moves.

Bearing in mind that Lexus stands for "Luxury EXperience in the United States", I would suggest that it is "experience" that should be pluralised to make the plural Lexsus ;D

I joined Fndr and Bimmer for a couple of races the other night as they were shaking down their Merc's and there was a lot of talk of transmission ratios, so I went searching and found this...

Kind of like in Baseball Stats, where Runs Batted In is shorted to RBI's, or more correctly, R'sBI :)
