GT400: Spiny's Slow Tunes 100 at Silverstone

so far my time at Silverstone is 1:52.xxx, anyone else got test times?  I think with practice a 1:50 may be possible, but idk.  COD 3 is proving to be much fun and i got a Race Pro HLC.

I was running in the 1:51's a few weeks ago - don't know if I can still do that, but at least I'll be at this week's race barring a disaster

I've not had high hopes for this race all season, Silverstone is not one of my better tracks and it also doesn't suit the Ferrari too well either though it does hold my Ghost around here @ 1:53.xxx

Start of the week with the Suzuka tune I was running from 1:55 down to 1:53 once the tyres started to work around lap 8.. 

Adjusted a few things and its now running much better straight out the box and I should be on for around 1:52 / 1:53 in the race.

For me the opposite is true - Silverstone is probably the track I'm expecting to go best at, even better than I would have at Laguna if I'd made it. Put simply, this is my best chance of getting to the top step of that podium - I'm certainly outclassed by at least one of you on the other tracks. Now, all I need is for Open to announce that he's running consistent 1:49's Then again, I need to protect my 500,000cr prize offer for this race

And, as for Sunset, I'll get thrashed by everyone on that straight, with the exception of Snyder... who'll just go an beat me in the corners instead!

I'm hoping to go well at sunset, but if the Ring is anything to go by Bimmer will be the one to beat, I think it will be close though, 5 of us within 16 points just goes to show how close the racing has been in this competition and Suzuka qualifying just proved it with 4 of us swapping places so much that Fndr managed to go from 3rd to 3rd quite a few times...   

I think this race will be close as well and we'll end up with another qualifying like suzuka. hopefully you'll all be distracted though, you should look out for the Ferrari sporting a special patriotic paint scheme for our home race.

That's the hope; this week is going to be painful.  I have no downforce, so my lap times would be slow, and then I go and catch what I think is the flu.  Greaat.  Just what I needed

Bimmer would have finished in time but for a miscalcualtion which led to him running out of fuel 150 yards from the finish, so was awarded points for 5th place.

Sorry bout that, but i had to leave after the qualification.  Hadn't gotten any practice for this week anyways hahaha.  I don't know if i'll make the last race, right now.

The ironic thing is that if you'd gone in the pits at the end of lap 25 you'd have got the "auto-drive" to take you across the line
