Here's my inspiration for a CHEAP turbo install on the Scout: a Ford Fairmont with a Vortec 5.3L sticking out of the hood. You won't believe the 1/4 mile times, but it's on the level. That exhaust is home fabbed schedule 40 pipe, and the turbo is a LOT closer to one cylinder bank than the other! The ENGINE ISN'T EVEN ON CENTERLINE TO THE CHASSIS!!! sweeeeeeeeeeeet.
