I think I saw the Focus with Lambo doors in Lake Mary, now that I think of it.  God, that was tacky...

And don't feel bad about a threadjack.  I started it with my ricer antagonist.  That's what I get for watching Fast & the Furious while trying to come up with a storyline for the twist.  (Not nearly as good as I had hoped, and I had heard it wasn't that great.)

I'm guessing the 50/colonial area was mostly UCF kids.  There was some rice on that campus.  It wasn't too horribly ubiquitous, but the ones who did it did it right.  Well, not right, really...more...um...well, they did it thoroughly.  As far as the boost thing, IIRC there's a fairly successful shop near campus that fabricates turbos.

That may be handy information if this supercharger thing doesn't work out so well.  XD

In an attempt to keep myself from being too irrelevant, I ran the three tracks in an MR2 GT last night.  It bested my times on 2 of 3, falling just short of passing the third.

I'll have to pull the times when I get home though, as they're escaping me currently.

Just to add to the ricer antagonisim, the best (as in worst) one I ever saw over here was an old 3dr Civic, faded red paintwork with a touch of rust, stock steel wheels with a couple of hubcaps missing and the biggest fully adjustable alloy spoiler I've ever seen bolted on the top of the hatch...  :o

I laughed so hard I nearly crashed....  :D

Extra smokey.... now with no assists!

Keeping the ricer antagonism going, a couple of months ago I saw a car with shiny chromed alloys, lowered suspension and what looked like about a 3" bore exhaust. Trouble is, this was on an Austin Allegro (google it if you don't know what it is).

For more examples of tat, take a look at this:

Sorry for continuing the threadjack - I see a split coming on  :)

Ferrari F355 on Maple 127.932 with almost a second to come off that when I put in more than four laps.
Also Mustang GT 05 in 130.147.

Ferrari F355 Challenge - 1:25.835
INGS RX-7 - 1:28.018

the INGS can definitly run 1:27's and the F355 is capable of 1:24's, (with some of my faster friends driving)

Ran this in the Miura last night with half a bottle of rum in my veins - 1:28.169 was better than I was expecting. But it still tries to oversteer when it goes light over the crests...

It's not really a big suprise that the 355 is fast at Maple Valley (since it's a leaderboard car there) I need to really get back on the stick with testing for this series.  I'm hoping I can get the Espirit to be competitive.  Probably not going to get to it this weekend since I've got a new ceramic coated exhaust system ::) to install on the beetle as well as some other misc. stuff that isn't as exciting.  ;D

It seems like every car I've got is able to run 127.xxx at Sebring (been testing there almost exclusively since it is one of my weakest tracks), though the Lotus is probably the most consistent.

INGS RX-7 - 1:27.534
Renault 5 Turbo - 1:27.921
AB Flag RX-7 - 1:28.089

I'm off my pace in of the lack of ABS and TCS that I'm used to, i'm pretty sure these times can come down, the INGS RX-7 seems to be the fastest I can get at the moment, but the AB Flag can go faster I know it.

Well, I guess this one's on its last legs.  Go ahead and get in your times; I'll keep it open a few more days, but know that the clock is ticking.
